My Birthday in Hawaii

The big plan today was a Night Manta Ray Dive with Sea Paradise.  Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other ideas.

Big swells and rough surf meant no dive for us.

We did have a fun time at LuLu’s for a late lunch.  This is one of our favorites haunts on The Big Island.  With a basket of popcorn shrimp, cheese fries and a root beer I was able to remedy my disappointment.  We are in Hawaii and there is more to the island than SCUBA.

 

 

If you look around the walls you will see autographed bills (mostly singles) stapled to everything.  It is just a fun place with a great view of the bay.
